WHO ..

I’m Anna, the Mama behind this site. I live with my family on 12 beautiful acres in Tennessee. I’m a wife and stay at home mom to four incredible souls. My parents live on our property, too. We spend the majority of our time outside; there’s always plenty of projects to tackle. I’m a crazy chicken lady. It only takes one, and then all of a sudden there are a dozen! We prayed and looked for the place to raise our family for years. This home site is our dream come true!

WHAT ..

I love being a stay-at-home mom! From sleep training to field trips, ball games to classroom parties, I find so much joy in this season primarily known as “Mama”. Does this position ever clock out? Nope. Do I get paid vacations or overtime? Nah.
The time I invest into my children is priceless!
I also lead the Moms Group at my church. It’s a priviledge to come alongside this group of women and learn how to raise our children in the name of Jesus. I have a vision to turn our lessons into actual study devotionals for Moms Groups everywhere!

WHY ..

So much worth and value can be based on monetary success, and my job’s accomplishments are paid in different yields. I’ve continually prayed for peace over my job as a homemaker and for a healthy perspective regarding our finances. Here’s what I’ve learned …

Although my job as a stay-at-home mom doesn't include a paycheck, I can still play an integral role in building wealth for our family. Proverbs 31:13-27

This revelation is why I created MamaKnow$Money. A career outside of our home isn’t necessary for me to be a part of our financial future right now!

I’m sure your do-to list is already large enough. Adding another check box to learn how to handle your finances may seem daunting. Maybe you have no idea where to start, or are embarassed to admit investing is foreign to you. That’s okay! This is a judgment free space, and I’m learning, too! This site is here to encourage and inspire you in making the world of finance understandable and doable. Let’s make it count!
